3M Rocker Schutz Beige – 08874

3M Rocker Schutz Beige is a tintable and paintable chip-resistant coating that has fast-drying properties. The coating is primarily used on motor vehicles as a rocker panel coating for paint-chip protection and also to help restore the OEM look on repaired parts after a collision. Some people use this product to recreate texture after repair.

Directions for Use

• Always apply over automotive primer when applying to metal. If the product is applied over bare metal, it will not provide enough corrosion resistance
• Shake can thoroughly for one minute
• Clean and dry surface with a cleaner if necessary
• Remove cap and attach directly to 3M Body Schutz Applicator Gun, PN 08997
• To match texture exactly, attach to air line, spray at 40-60 psi at a distance of 6-8 inches
• Apply 2-4 light coats and allow 5 minutes for the solvents to flash between coats
• Wait for a minimum of 30 minutes before painting
